The day after Thanksgiving we went to a cute little town nearby called Boerne for their Christmas celebration.
Boston got to see Santa (twice) because they had a couple different Santas there.
It was fun to walk around the streets that they had shut down to public transportation and enjoy the small town feeling. They had some bands playing, carolers, and other random forms of entertainment like fire jugglers.
Boston felt pretty high and mighty up on this big chair. He's flexing in this picture.
He looks so cute and happy in this picture, but honestly, he cried most of the time we were here. There was so much going on and we made him sit in his stroller most of the time because it was dark and we didn't want to lose him. I think he felt like he was missing out on all the fun because we wouldn't let him down to run around. Poor kid. He has so much energy, he can barely contain himself sometimes. I'm glad he got a few fun moments out of the night though. Hopefully he'll remember those rather than being forced to sit in his stroller while screaming his little head off.
They had a bunch of little shops that we browsed around in while we were there. After we took this picture, we noticed the ghost girl in the background. Funny huh?
Seeing Santa was definitely the highlight of the night. Boston's already so excited for Santa to come and bring him a scooter. Boston has already sat on at least 3 different Santa's laps this year. I'm impressed that they've all had real beards, and real bellies so far. No fake wigs, or stuffing yet.
I love this picture. We told him to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas and he got so shy. He's not normally shy at all, so it was cute seeing him try to get some words out while he stared at Santa in amazement.
This is going to be our first Christmas with just our own little family. It's going to feel so different spending Christmas in Texas with no snow and no family, but we are going to make the best of it and enjoy starting some new traditions.
