Thanksgiving

I better post our Thanksgiving pictures before we celebrate Christmas in two days! 

We hosted Thanksgiving this year again. Boston helped me get ready the day before by husking all the corn. I love that he thinks it's fun.

He thought their "hair" underneath the husk was funny. 

Thanksgiving morning I got up at 5:30 to run 10 miles with my running buddy Ashley and be home in time for Scott to play some football at our park with some guys in the neighborhood and ward. 

We had 8 little kids in the house for Thanksgiving. It was a little loud and crazy at times, but they all had fun playing together. The adults were grateful it was warm enough for them to play outside on the trampoline for awhile. 

We had the Kecks and the Thelers over this year. Gina's husband stayed home with their sick 3 year old. We were really sad they couldn't make it! 

The food was delicious! Turkey from Rudy's, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (not pictured), stuffing, corn on the cob, parmesan rolls, butternut squash, and banana bread (not pictured). 

Brody got to try the rolls, butternut squash, and banana bread. 

There wasn't much time for the guys to watch football, but they squeezed a little bit in between lunch and Sea World. 

Happy first Thanksgiving to little Bro!

I love our traditional Sea World trip on Thanksgiving. It's nice to walk off some of the Thanksgiving feast before eating pie, and it's fun to see all the Christmas decorations!

Sea World brings in a little snow for the deprived Texas kids, so Brody got to see snow for his first time. 

Boston loves the tubing at the Sea World Winter Wonderland. The line to do this is normally insanely long, but there was no one there on Thanksgiving when we went, so the kids got to go over and over again. 

I even went down the hill once. :)

After walking around Sea World for a couple hours, we were all ready for some pie for "dinner!"

We had four different kinds: apple, pumpkin, lemon meringue, and Scott's oreo dessert. 

It was a great Thanksgiving, and we were grateful to have friends to share it with!
