Visits with Grandma and Grandpa

We were lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents come visit shortly after Brody was born. Boston loves having his grandparents come visit. He gets so excited that he wakes them up bright and early every morning, and he can barely control all his energy. I'm sure his grandparents are pretty tired by the time they leave. I didn't do a very good job at taking pictures while they were here, but I got a few.

My mom had already been with us for 5 weeks, and my dad came when Brody was one week old.

He stayed for a week, and then my parents flew home together. Boston loved playing with Grandpa "Skip." (My dad's name is Kip, but Boston calls him Grandpa Skip.)

They played with his toys, basketball, baseball, jumped on the tramp, and my dad also introduced him to Indian leg wrestling.

We stayed around the house most of the time, but we also went to one of Boston's basketball games, the Texas Wildlife Safari, and out to eat once.

It was fun having my mom here for so long, and very nice of her to stay and help for so long! She missed her bed, but hopefully holding an adorable cuddly baby made up for it. :) Boston likes to arrange our pillows, so all those pillows lined up on the top of the couch are compliments of Boston. My mom made the blue pillow covers while she was here, and we bought the yellow ones. It was fun having my mom help me decorate. I probably would have never gotten around to it, but it's nice to have it mostly done now!

We took some pictures before church on Sunday, the last day my parents were here.

2 weeks old. So tiny. He's changed so much!

The next time he sees grandma, he'll be 5.5 months old! We can't wait for our trip to Utah this Summer. It's been two long years since we've been home.

Four days after my parents left, Scott's parents flew in for a few days.

We had a fun weekend going to Boston's basketball game, doing a little birthday shopping, celebrating Scott's birthday, going out to eat, and hanging out around the house!

It's so fun to have grandparents come visit!
