Ramp Jam

After I got home from my run on Saturday, and Scott got home from conducting a baptism, we looked at our ball of energy in all his glory and said, "What should we do to wear him out today? "

The next thing we knew we were at Sea World feeling pretty spoiled that we could have such a great form of spur-of-the-moment entertainment ten minutes from our house, and since we have season passes it's guilt free (pun intended) entertainment.

We got a special treat that day from professional skateboarders, BMXers, and in-line skaters that compete on the X Games Dew Tour. Boston loved it. It was definitely different than the usual animal shows we see, and Scott had fun getting some sweet pictures too. Good thing Boston doesn't have a bike yet or I'm pretty sure he would have gone straight home and tried to imitate these guys. As he was watching them he kept saying, "I want to ride a bike." We told him we'd get him one for Christmas. We've been wanting to get him a bike for a long time. Hopefully these crazy Ramp Jam stunts will be long gone from his memory by the time he gets his bike. :)

He's fearless. Although you should have seen him jump when a shark swam up suddenly without him anticipating it. It was pretty funny. Does this picture give anyone else the willies? It just doesn't look right to have my two year old that close to a real shark whether there's glass between them or not.

Thanks Sea World for wearing Boston out. Nap time was nice.
