Half Mormathon and Pumpkins
What’s a half mormathon you might ask? It’s a group of Mormons, and friends, running 13.1 miles together on a Saturday morning competing for a box of twinkies, and some Spurs tickets. Saturday races are hard to come by in Texas, not to mention they cost a pretty penny, so a guy in our ward made his own half marathon! It was free to anyone that wanted to join. We even got medals for finishing! He did an awesome job putting this together, and everyone had a lot of fun.
We never got around to carving pumpkins before Halloween, but we had two pumpkins sitting on our porch the Sunday after Halloween, so we decided who cares if it’s not Halloween? We didn’t want the pretty little pumpkins we bought at the pumpkin patch to go to waste, so we popped in Bewitched and had a little post Halloween fun. Nothing too fancy this year, but here they are.
