Another Sport in the Books for Boston

Boston finished his first season of baseball (coaches pitch) this past Saturday.

He had a lot of fun giving baseball a try, and he improved his swing a lot.

His coaches were great!

It was so funny to see Boston with the big, heavy batting helmet on. After he would hit the ball, he would start running in the direction he thought he was supposed to run. He couldn't even see where he was going because of the big helmet, so a lot of the time he ran the wrong way. Ha ha. It was pretty funny.

Boston had the "ready" position down pretty well. He would run to get the ball even if it was no where near his position.

We borrowed the umbrella, we didn't buy Brody a Hello Kitty umbrella. :) Most of his baseball games were sweltering hot. Scott and I would just sit there and melt. The joys of the Texas Summer start way too early!

His favorite game of every sport he's tried is always the last one where he gets his beloved trophy. Great job Boston! I'm excited to watch many more games of whatever sport he decides on in the years to come. Now he wants to give karate a try. I'm all for an indoor sport next.

It is so awesome that Boston has been able to try so many sports. I'm sure it has built his self esteem along with his trophy collections. He is such a cutie! And growing up way too fast.
