Easter Sunday

Boston found one egg Easter morning when he woke up with a note in it saying that the Easter bunny would visit his house while he was at church. We have 8:00 church, and Scott was already at his meeting by the time Boston woke up, so we did Boston's Easter basket after church.

We sent him on a little scavenger hunt around the house. There were five Easter eggs hidden in random places with notes inside that had a clue about where to look for the next egg. I knew he would get plenty of candy at the Easter egg hunt with his friends and the ward campout, so next to each egg was a little gift. He got a new outfit, socks, and some pool toys.

He also got a cute chocolate bunny that he adored.

Despite it's cuteness, he had no problem biting it's ears right off. He actually thought it was hilarious.

After Boston found his Easter basket we made him humor us and take some Easter pictures in the blue bonnets.

I really love this time of year in Texas. It's so pretty, and the weather is perfect!

He was a good sport.

Can I be done yet mom?

That night we went to our friend's house for Easter dinner and an Easter egg hunt with the kids.

When we pulled up to their house it was pouring rain, but by the time dinner was over, it had cleared up.

We didn't think they'd be able to, but the kids got to do their Easter egg hunt outside after all!

It was a great Easter!

What cute pictures of Boston in the flowers! And I love the idea of a scavenger hunt with the eggs next to presents instead of tons of candy :)
