This past Saturday USAA celebrated 90 years with a big party.
We stopped at the Bass Pro Shop on the way to the party to do some of their free Summer activities with Boston.
I knew he would love painting this wiggly wooden snake. Too bad he lost it at the party though. We might have to go back and make another one this week.
After the Bass Pro Shop we headed to USAA for the big party. They had a lot of fun things for the kids. Boston's been really into dragons lately, so he was pretty happy with his awesome dragon balloon.
Another big hit at the party was this giant pool of bubbles for the kids to jump around in. What kid wouldn't love to be completely surrounded by bubbles?
They also had two soccer fields full of different bounce houses.
It was a typical hot Texas day and we were melting, but at least Boston got nice an cool from all the water ride bounce houses.
There were free food booths with all kinds of food everywhere you looked. This fire roasted corn on the cob was one of our favorites.
By the time the sun went down it was the perfect temperature to be outside. It felt so good. Being outside on Summer nights is one of my favorite things. It's a treat that doesn't happen nearly as often once you have kids, but it just makes it that much better when it does happen.
We ended the night with a firework show. Happy Birthday USAA!

Awesome party! They treat you good! That would be so cool having it all free!
